Designing graphics for Facebook
If you plan to start promoting a new company or improve the strategy of an existing company in social media, visual content will help you determine your identity on the Internet.
On Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+, nearly three billion people are active users of social media. How can you use it for your business? The answer is simple: creating interesting and attracting graphics for social media.

The first issue that applies to virtually all designers is the use of the Facebook logo in their projects. In the network you can find a lot of different types of icons available for use on websites and other graphic works. Their authors agree to their use, but what about Facebook? It turns out that he is no longer so indulgent. If we want to use their logo with a clear conscience, we should carefully read the Facebook Brand website. You can download the Facebook graphics you can use for it. Interestingly – you definitely can not use the Facebook logo in its entirety – we can only use “f”.

When designing graphics, you should also read the Facebook regulations regarding published content. Particularly relevant information is:
Do not encourage other people to add photos in the background of the page to their private timeline. Background images can not use images that contain more than 20% of the text.
Promotions (also contests) on Facebook must be handled within the application on Facebook.com – on the canvas page or in the application on the website. Applications must also contain information about the organizer and release Facebook from liability.
Registration or joining a promotion may not be conditional on the User’s performance of any activities using the Facebook function except for the liking of the site, registration in place or connection to the application. For example, you may not make your registration or promotion campaign dependent on likeing a post on the board or placing a comment or photo on the board.
You may not use Facebook features, such as the “Like” button, as a voting mechanism in the promotion.
Winners must not be notified via Facebook, e.g. via Facebook messages, chat or posts in profiles (time axes) or on pages.
Pictures are a useful medium of communication – entries on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ look very attractive with them, and in Pinterest and Instagram only they count. Entries in social media containing graphics are more likely to be clicked and shared by recipients than posts without them. New tools are still emerging to help them create and share them.
